Jaguar XKE

The E type made its Debut  in March of 1961 at the Geneva Auto show,. It was an instant hit.  Possibly  regarded as the most sought after  superceded  model in the world today  as well as being the most instantly recognizable  sports cars of all time.  High performance and low sleek curvaceous lines,  with a variety of power packs from  the original 3.8 litre up to a later introduction with the  5.3 litre V12. - (1971  V12 engine  developed by Walter Hassan.)

When introduced  (3.8 litre 5 cylinder) This Classic car boasted top speed of 150 mph  and a price tag of only £2,097

Believing that aerodynamic efficiency was of the utmost importance to a car, Malcolm Sayer (1916-1970), a gifted  engineer with wind

tunnel experience from the aircraft Industry was employed and the

E type design was solidly based  on  mathematical principles.

A few simple lines on a page are an  extremely

valuable  communication tool,

What do these lines say to you?

Something wrong ?  .  .   The eye expects certain things .
